When a client pays for a job, the money is held rather than sent straight on to the tradie. It is released once the job is marked complete. If a tradie has marked the work finished and the client does not respond, the payment is released automatically after 7 days - the client is warned first and can raise a dispute before anything moves.
Tradies are paid to the bank account connected through Stripe. Payouts are weekly on the Free plan and daily on Pro and Platinum.
Tradie plans (Pro and Platinum) purchased in the iPhone app are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile and personal information. See our data deletion page for detail on what is kept and why (for example, records we are required to retain for tax or dispute purposes).
Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen to get a reset link by email. If you signed up with Apple, Google or Facebook, use that same button to sign back in rather than a password. If you are locked out entirely, email us from the address on the account and we will help.
Every profile, job, message and video has a report option. Reports go to our moderation queue and are reviewed by a person. You can also block a user, which hides their content from you and yours from them.
Tradies can add their ABN, licence and White Card details to their profile. We display what they provide, but we do not independently verify every credential. Please do your own checks on licensing and insurance before engaging a tradie, especially for licensed trades or higher-value work.
